Cottage Hardwood Floor Refinishing

A client called in asking for advice on their hardwood floor at the cottage. An older, heavy beveled Bruce oak hardwood floor, commonly found in the 1980s had faded and needed refinishing. This floor had heavy wear and tear in high traffic areas near the hallway and in front of the patio door, which all came out nicely. I was also asked if I could install new hardwood to match the existing in a hallway and a small adjacent room. The project was finished off using Minwax Early American stain, coated with Bona polyurethane.
