Water-Damaged Floor Renovation

A water-damaged floor can be a big job, but they can be fixed such as with this renovation project. The roof at this house leaked badly and water infiltrated the walls, ending up on the hardwood floors. An insurance restoration company contacted us to replace this site finished floor with a new floor, stained the match the old.

The old floor was completely removed and disposed of, and replaced with the exact same unfinished red oak floor. The floor was then sanded, stained, and finished. The stain used here was Duraseal Coffee Brown and the finish used was Poloplaz 1K, a waterborne polyurethane in a matte finish.
